Case Doc Templates WindowThe Case Doc Template window allows you to manage the document templates that are used to generate letters and documents in the Case Management module. ![]() Templates for the Case Management module are created using Microsoft Word. Like any standard Word document, logos, standard text, and paragraph layouts can all be entered. These templates can be customized to pull patient/case specific data from axiUm into the Word document by using predefined letter template fields. These field names are predefined in axiUm and cannot be modified. The field names are manually typed into the document, must be surrounded by << and >>, and the field name must be an exact match. Example: A Word template could be set up to include the following text: <<Date.Long>> ATTN: <<Refer.Name>> <<Refer.Address1>> <<Refer.City>>, <<Refer.State>> <<Refer.Zip>> RE: <<Patient.Name>> When generating the report from axiUm, the template would automatically pull the correct information into the Word document: May 22, 2017 ATTN: John Doctor 123 Main St. Dental Town, AB 12345 RE: Jane Patient For more information on creating templates in Word, see the Case Management Setup Guide. ![]()
